Live Laugh Love Your Photographs

When wedding season comes around, getting a photographer can be hard and expensive. Use your intuition and all available sources around you. Personally, I used a local Craigslist style webpage looking for student photographers who wanted to build portfolios. You can view their work online, most have webpages and Facebook pages with a sample of work posted.

I never thought I would come across one of the best photographers around, Erin Woodgate. Her website http://www.erinwoodgatephotography.com shows some of the most beautiful photos I have seen in a long time, business, love and weddings this girl seems to be able to handle anything.

I've personally had two photo shoots with her, in the winter and summer at local hot spots. She is well rounded and personable, which honestly makes most new models really comfortable! It's a shame she's traveling around the world, but look for her where you live and just maybe you can capture your moment in time.

Remember, think frugal but don't settle for poor quality. I've hired a photographer for the wedding from Kijiji who is doing the ceremony, and hour photo shoot with the wedding party and coming to the reception to take photos of family and our cupcake wedding cake. All of this, for $25 and being included in the meal for her and her assistant. Talk about a deal!

  2. Is this not the same photographer that cancelled on you with less than two weeks until your wedding?

  3. Unfortunately, the kijiji advertisement didn't go so well. I still stand by using a web service for your wedding. That's how I found Erin!
