A nice hot drink in the morning is a good start.
Today is my 3rd anniversary with my significant other, I have to say cheers to that ladies and gents because it is kind of a big deal to some. It is the last one before we start the count over for wedding anniversaries. I wonder if some people have a hard time thinking of what to do when it comes to a surprise for your S.O, but I usually can think of something off the top of my head. Its June and the weather is rainy, so anything picnic or outdoors related is pretty much out. Looks like I'll be cooking again. If you're looking for something to do for that special someone, here is a list of great ones I have used over the years.

Be Close
- Outdoor/Indoor Picnic
- Nature Walk
- Swimming
- Candle lit dinner that you made yourself or together
- Baking anything!
- Renting an action/chick flick that you would normally veto
- Grab a bottle of wine/6 pack that your S.O favors
- Run a bubble bath/ Give massage
- Write 100 reasons of love and package them as a gift OR hide them around the house if you're living together.
- Send her a bouquet of gorgeous paper or real roses along with a romantic card telling her how much your first year together has meant to you.
- A custom hardcover photo memory book of your first year together.
- Find a first edition of a classic book that your partner loves.
- Give your partner a personalized romance novel starring the two of you! Choose a story from 'mild' to 'wild', and you and your partner will be starring in your own exotic, steamy, and especially romantic love story.
- Get tickets to a Broadway play, sports game, or some other event that the two of you would enjoy together.
- Go on a pretend honeymoon! Make two plane tickets and include a poster of the place that you're going to. Treat it like a real honeymoon.

Cuddle & Kiss
Those are some real good ones and I can think of a hundred more, but maybe another day I'll post some more. The main point of all the these is to make your someone feel special!
I find that putting on Star Wars followed by a sandwich and a beverage of choice is rather romantic. :P
